$9 is charged today and then once a month. There is no free trial.
Cancel any time with "Manage or cancel". It stops renewing, and AttentionShield keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for.
If the subscription stops, AttentionShield pauses. Nothing in the inbox is touched while it is paused.
